Northstar GPS antenna 124The GPS antenna 124 from North Star is a complete WAAS / EGNOS-compatible 12-channel GPS receiver. The integrated data processor, the GPS position in NMEA format. The NMEA data format allows connection to any navigation receiver, Seekartenplotter, PC, etc. The following records are sent: GGA, GLL, GSA, GSV, RMC, VTG, ZDA. The power consumption is 30 mA @ 12 V DC, the voltage range from 7 V to 32 V DC. The GPS antenna is waterproof after IPX67.

Steering signals from the autopilot are now fed to the dc motor which drives the pump to move the cylinder back and forth. De-energizing the solenoid valve immediately disconnects the automatic pilot from the rudder. The unit has a small translucent oil reservoir making it easy to check the fluid level. It is also shipped filled with oil and requires no additional hydraulic plumbing or purging.
